Les Savvy spotted him walking down the high street in Spalding in the early 90‘s wearing his trademark half-face make-up (which he says was tattooed on by the aliens, but which has subsequently been challenged by his local Avon lady). Savvy immediately wanted the look and, after just 3 bass lessons from Rock Steady, Spangle became an integral part of Glam R Us. |
ROCK STEADY
Scandal aside, there is no denying that this man is an extraordinary guitar player. Nicknamed “Son of Slash” his right hand is usually covered in blisters from frantic strumming. Great musical icons of the 20th century are said to all admire Steady’s work – they simply can’t understand why he is wasting his talent in Glam R Us – when he should be sharing it with young school girls, sorry – children, everywhere! |

A living legend in his own right, Peter Storm has certainly found the ultimate group to fit his ever-increasing ego. Since rising to fame as David Bowie’s fluffer in the early 80’s, and subsequently Suzi Q’s widely publicised “sex toy in a gift box”, his vocal talents has left mankind around the world weeping. Rising through the ranks of the rock world, Glam R Us are simply the best show band to show him off to his full potential. Get your Tena Lady’s ready girls – this man is sex in a codpiece!
Ricky Spangle is a fine example of how you can go from nothing to everything – and be completely and utterly mad during the process! In 1982 Spangle hit the headlines (under his true name John Bogness) by relating to the world his supposed abduction by alien creatures. His tales of experimentation, communication, sexual relations, and finally marriage to an extra-terrestrial called Bryony, has continued to shock to this day even the most avid believers.
Not a lot has been documented about this demon guitar player until recently, when his squeaky-clean image was destroyed by a kiss-and-tell in the Sunday Sport by farmer’s son Matty Wilkinson. Wilkinson was reported as saying that Steady used his rare collection of classic trainer shoes as a honey trap for unsuspecting young gentlemen. Steady has denied all accusations but this story has certainly blotted his copybook.
A former fridge and dairy engineer, Informee has been a recent addition to Glam R Us. His astonishing life story was yet another tabloid sensation. It was said that his birth mother artificially inseminated a cocktail of Keith Moon’s and John Bonham’s sperm. There has been mass debate about which drummer is his true father, but legend has it that he is simply a hybrid of both – judging by his extreme talent.
